Every year, bcg2 uses its proprietary Eye On New Zealand research tool to take a snapshot of our nation’s mindset. We see what 500 Kiwis aged 18-64 think about the land of the long white cloud.
And every year, it brings up some unexpected and fascinating insights on our attitudes to money, the environment, our future… and how happy we are with our daily lives.
In 2008, Eye on New Zealand uncovered such interesting findings, we were interviewed on TVNZ’s ‘Breakfast’ show. We also held a seminar in conjunction with the Marketing Association where we compared our insights with those from our Australian offices. It was eye-opening to see such startling differences of opinion in what many marketers regard as the same market.
This year in particular, we’re expecting to see some very interesting insights crop up. With a new Government and a global economy in turmoil, it’s going to be a very different picture to 2008.
